Guy Best Friend

If you ever have a choice between a boyfriend and a guy best friend, pick a guy best friend.

He acts annoying as heck, but he's funny, sweet, and caring around you. He can always put a smile on your face and makes you laugh so hard your stomach hurts. You'll like him eventually, and he'll like you one day, but that won't get in the way of your friendship. You two have such a strong bond. You tell him everything, trust him more than anyone, and love him to death (but not romantically). Your friends always joke about you two being a couple or getting married one day. You spend every second you can with him because he makes your life so much better. His hugs are the best, and he'll always hold you when you're sad. You two have so many inside jokes and so many memories together. When something amazing happens, you always go to him first no matter what it is. He's the goofiest, sweetest guy you'll ever meet, and you two are always acting like crackheads together. The bond between you is inseparable, and you'll probably stay friends even as adults.

I have a guy best friend and he means the world to me. I'm so scared of losing him next year when we leave our middle school and possibly go to different high schools. Thank you for always being there for me <3
