the moment after you have met someone in a particular setting just by chance, whether sitting next to each other in class or on the bus, and somehow you begin talking and the conversation has been strong with interest on both sides with the topics straightforward and trivial that is like a line of gunpowder that ignites into the next subject, sparking yours and this stranger's enthusiasm. Suddenly the discussion stops, both participants feeling the halt in conversation, the easy flow dissipating in an instant and you are left in silence that vibrates in your head and surrounds the both of you, urging to either probe deeper in this stranger's life to overcome this sensation of the mind and atmosphere, to connect with them a little longer or depart on that note, never feeling the satisfaction of closure in the conversation even with sincere abbreviated farewells when parting ways.

While chatting with the girl from chemistry before the class starts, morath settles in the air and you turn away to sit in silence and wait for class to begin
