Silvia is one of the most incredible and fun human beings you will ever meet, truly one in a million! She is thoughtful, empathetic and kind. She is very loyal and someone you can trust to have your back no matter what. A very independent and strong woman who enjoys meeting new people but also appreciates her alone time. She is a very hard worker who will take on too much responsibility at times making her vulnerable. She is creative and a problem solver with an analytical mind always wanting to better herself and others. Somehow she is always stylish even with minimal efforts, wether she is wearing a cocktail dress or sweatpants. Sylvia Plath Effect

From Kaufman (2001; Kaufman & Baer, 2002), a psychologist -- the Sylvia Plath Effect is the finding that female poets are more likely to commit suicide than any other kind of writer (male or female).

Perhaps one cause of the Sylvia Plath effect is that creative writing gatekeepers such as editors or teachers may unconsciously expect a quality poem written by a woman to be heartfelt and moving without holding similar expectations for a poem written by a man.
