More proof that the general public has no taste in music (see also White Stripes). Ever hear their song "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" The entire song is based around ONE chord. Apparently people are entertained by a song that only has one chord in it. To further add insult to injury, Jet's music also sounds like it was recorded in the 70s. The reason music in the 70s sounded like that was due to the limitations of recording technology; it was not a sound for which people strived.

Guy 1: "Are You Gonna By My Girl" by Jet is a great song.
Guy 2: "That entire song is based around ONE chord?"
Guy 1: "Huh? What's a chord?"
Guy 2: "Obviously you have no clue about music."
Guy 1: "What? I like this song because MTV and my friends told me it was cool."
Guy 2: "Obviously..."

A rare name that some boys have. Jet is very nice and caring, but sometimes can have random mood swings and get sensitive. He is obsessed with a certain sport, be it basketball, baseball, etc. He loves acting like a kid and he is afraid of growing up. He is very attractive, but not the tallest guy ever. Jet usually has blue eyes and brown hair. He is a really good friend, but don't go to him for advice. Most girls love him, and most guys dislike him. If you meet a Jet, make sure to say hi.

Girl: Oh snap, look at Jet! Isn't he so cute?!
Guy: He's gay.

A band of cocky australians who think they are god's gift to rock and steal from other sources, especially the beatles. They talk shit about other bands and have big ass egos. I mean who the hell do they think they are, Oasis? And they even manage to be annoying - their song "Are you gonna be my girl" is impossible to escape from its freakin everywhere.

They were probrably talkin about themseleves there....
