bamboozle bomb

An unexpected statement that instantly confuses everyone, coming from a person who, generally, does not have a clue on the subjects which he/she is involved.
If a colleague or a friend, who is always clueless, shares a statement that confuses everyone in the middle of a group conversation in a casual or a work related environment, you may say he or she has thrown a bamboozle bomb.
