The root phrase being "Good Lord" which evolved to "Koowit Lord", and ultimately was shortened to "Koowit", is occasionally used as a greeting as well. Similar in usage to Aloha and other colloquial greetings. Other spellings are "Cud't" and the original spelling containing as many O's as the user deems fit to illustrate the level of surprise or disdain. Example: "Koooooooooooooooooowit!"
