something that my friend made up. filipino humor is someone (who’s filipino) who thinks “loud = funny” liked hazbin hotel, helluva boss, have those insufferable wolf cuts, etc.. i am pretty sure my friend saw one of these people online once. now she thinks everyone who is filipino is like that.

Gen X humor

Dark absurd humor that often leads to more psychological pain. Lots of action and terror. Perfect for the generation that gave us slackers, punks and heavy metal.

Eg. think of 80's and 90's movies like Die Hard, The Client, Predator, Alien, Dead Poet's society and more. Gen X definitely have a dark humor.

This is the case for Xennials even, eg. Don't hug me i'm scared, Final Destination, and more all got popular with them.

A good example of Gen X humor is Dead Poet's Society. Peak.
