I type of humor not everyone gets, and can be harsh, respects nothing/nobody, however is still funny as hell. Mainly shedding light on how people with mental issues see the world.
Me: I bought a cheese grater for my blind friend for his birthday, a week later he tells me it was the most violent book he'd ever read.
Friend: What?
Me: It's dark humor you wouldn't understand.
Friend: What?
Me: It's dark humor you wouldn't understand.
*2 people hear about the news about Sandy Hook*
Person 1: God, I can only imagine what was going through those kids heads in the last moments of their lives...
Person 2: Probably bullets
Person 1: OMG!! That's terrible! Can YOU even think of what their parents are going through?!
Person 2: Probably coffin brochures
Person 1: ...
Person 2: It's called dark humor. It's like food. Not everybody gets it.
