An alternative term for buzzcut. The term derives itself from the way closely-buzzed hair on the scalp resembles a five o'clock shadow.

Stop it 5

A mandate to cease a certain activity, followed by the addressing of the the recipient as "5," a reference to the Bloods streetgang.

Made popular by rapper Cam'ron and used throughout Harlem and farther, the phrase has lost most of its gang-related connotation, but is still used strictly to reference Bloods in some purist circles.

"How he holdin weight, knowin he owin cake, yo scream in homey's face, stop it 5!"

Hard-5

Getting laid off or fired from work. Its a play on rolling hard numbers playing craps. Since a hard-5 is not possible it means you won't be a winner.

Erin winterized at the kickoff event and rolled a hard-5 the next day.

We got acquired last week and a bunch of people rolled a hard-5.
