When you play a game and you aren't raging you type "GG." It means "Good Game" or the opposite "Get Guud"
The chat of a COD game:
"GG"
"GG"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKING LOSER I'LL SLIT YOUR THROAT AND KILL YOUR DOG"

gg short “Git Gud”, an intentional misspelling of the phrase “get good,” is an expression used to heckle inexperienced players or newbies in online video games. Often used cover as "Good Game" misunderstanding but the short form for "Good Game" is GG not gg, so watch out if others violate you or are you trying tell you, that you suck.

It's mostly used in context for "good game."
But it can also be used as slang for "good job," which is usually done in a sarcastic way.
