Obama's Law

A term that originated from Godwin's Law, Obama's Law states that as an online argument grows longer and more heated, it becomes increasingly likely that somebody will blame Obama. When such an event occurs, the person guilty of invoking Obama's Law has effectively forfieted the argument.
"Hey did you see that car wreck the other day?"
"Yeah I did, thanks a lot Obama."
"It wasn't Obama's fault."
"Well, that's Obama's Law."

veselekov's zeroth law

A scientific law explicitly stating that all members of the female race shall be unable to be sexually attracted to any man who has full autonomous control of their eyebrows. This does not hold true for any relationship that remains at a platonic level, such as friendships, or even jogging buddies. Predates his first law of gas, grass, or ass: no one rides for free
Player 1: Man, that dude's eyebrows are going everywhere! he's even doing the wave!

Player 2: He probably suffers from veselekov's zeroth law

Murphy's Law Of Wind-Direction

"No matter where you stand, da breeze will invariably blow either towards you or in your face, causing you great difficulty in proceeding ahead and/or "cleanly"/effectively performing tasks dat involve/include vapors/particulates/liquids." (Think, Murphy's Law of Cigarette Smoke, or trying to bicycle someplace on a blustery day and da stiff wind keeps switching around so dat it's always hinderingly in your face --- never helpfully at your back --- both on your way to your destination AND on your way back home again!)
P.S. Oh yeah --- and don't even **consider** simply postponing outdoor activities till a "still spell" --- DAT will only mean multitudes of mosquitoes and black flies to torment you and make you WISH for a breeze!
Two classic examples of da infuriating effects of Murphy's Law Of Wind-Direction would be (1) trying to water your hanging-basket plants on da front porch, but da watering-can's sprinkled droplets keep blowing backwards so dat da water both largely misses your plants and gets you soaking-wet, and (2) trying to employ toss-across collecting when gathering returnables along da highway, but having many of da thrown containers just blow right back onto your side of da road.

Steve Jobs Law

The belief that companies, especially technology companies, know what the customer wants before the customer does. This was pioneered by Steve Jobs when he was CEO of Apple. His famous quote was, “Some people say, Give the customers what they want." But that's not my approach. Our job is to figure out what they're going to want before they do. I think Henry Ford once said, "If I'd asked customers what they wanted, they would have told me, 'A faster horse!'" People don't know what they want until you show it to them. That's why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.“

This law was used to launch products that consumers had never thought of such as iTunes and iPhone and they worked spectacularly because consumers actually enjoyed the products and it simplified their media and daily life for a time.

Today, Steve Jobs Law is a smokescreen by big tech to ram new products and services down our throats without any input by customers and they expect us to immediately adapt the new products/upgrades/services without complaint, use it in our daily lives, and expect us to pay for the privilege. The Steve Jobs Law has now morphed into a totalitarian force within technology where forced adaptation is not only expected, it should be celebrated, and any attempt at customization by consumers that was celebrated previously must be stamped out immediately.
Did I ever ask for this A.I. upgrade on my Microsoft Office? I don’t need this on my spreadsheet or my PowerPoint! I know how to build it to my specifications. But due to the Steve Jobs Law, I, the customer, don’t know anything about technology and how I can use it to my benefit. I am told what is good for me, I am expected to upgrade to it, and I am expected to pay for it!
