Something that gamers usually say after a round of playing.
'GG' stands for good game, and it's a sign of respect to the other players.

GG in modern settings means "Good Game". The first documented use of GG was in Admiral Nimitz's telegram to Admiral Halsey's Task Force 34, "TURKEY TROTS TO WATER GG FROM CINCPAC ACTION COM THIRD FLEET INFO COMINCH CTF SEVENTY-SEVEN X WHERE IS RPT WHERE IS TASK FORCE THIRTY FOUR RR THE WORLD WONDERS." Not only was Adm. Nimitz trying to signal Halsey to relieve Taffy 3 from Kurita's Central Force, consisted of numerous battleships and heavy cruisers with overwhelming firepower, but also for any Japanese radio-intelligence intercepting the communication, "GG FROM CINCPAC", "Good Game from Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet Headquarters", meaning that it's over for the Imperial Japanese Navy.
Adm. Nimitz "GG FROM CINCPAC"
