(not offensive and non-sexual term):

a person who outwardly looks unfriendly, but once you get to know them better, they are actually well-intentioned but shy and clumsy, yet trying to help others out.

I know quite a few people who can be qualified as a banana. This definition stems from the facts that banana peels on the street can make you slip and hurt yourself (the person looks unfriendly) but the fruit itself is sweet and tasty (the person is shy, clumsy and trying to help others).

A chinese that is seemingly unable to speak to write in chinese, giving the appearance of a banana (yellow on the outside white on the inside) but is actually, really, just another chinese.

Characteristics include but not limited to :
1. Bougie appearance (may or may not actually be)
2. Speaks only English even though proficient in other languages

3. Exceptionally friendly with everyone (relative to Chinese counterparts)

Damn this girl a banana face, we be speaking chinese the whole time but she be pretending.
