Headcannon

A Headcannon is a story (or really anything) that is added on to or changed in a persons mind. For example, in Undertale, someone may make up a story on how Papyrus joined the Royal guard, since this doesn't happen in-game, this makes it someone's headcannon. Headcannons usually aren't shared, but you can find headcannons of many things on many different social platforms.
Person 1: "That doesn't happen in the story."
Person 2: I know, its my personal headcannon.

Head-Canon

Not necessarily canon, but canon in your own perspective. Your own alternate perspective of what’s canon.
In my head-canon, Mario in the original Donkey Kong games from the early ‘80s is actually the father of Mario and Luigi. That Pauline is probably a different Pauline. Maybe it’s modern Pauline’s mother. The second Mario in Donkey Kong Jr. is Mario and Luigi’s random uncle.

heartcanon

Something that is canon only in your heart. You know that thing isn't true in the original history/canon, but you don't care. It's true in your heart, and that's all that matters.

More intense than headcanon.
Zen from PDA farts fire in my heartcanon. I know it isn't true in the canon.
