One who has more access in a downtown scene than the normal or general public who frequent downtown. Down town royalty has frequented down town for sometime, generally meeting the high - archy(other downtown royals)in the early stages of downtown socialization through other then, well established downtown royals.
Downtown Royalty - not limited to one downtown scene, granted access with out cover, not waiting in line, brought to the front of a line, discounts, courtesy drinks, well known, not always well liked, etc.
