Sociology lesson

A safe place if you're anything except a non-white male.
Even though it's a broad subject and interesting subject filled with ideas, a sociology lesson can easily be whittled down to "white men are racists, everyone else are oppressed".

One of the few places leftists feel completely empowered and morally superior where as long as you hate white men, you're never wrong.

A: I'm getting so sick of Anatomy & Physiology. As a bi-gender grey demi queer unicorn fairy flute toothpaste toenail chicken ankle, it's just insulting to see all this bullshit.

B: We can always go check out a sociology lesson, it's the one place we can escape their oppressive patriarchal misogynistic white supremacy. Sociology understands who we are. They're there to protect our feelings.

sociologineer

A non-engineer who is installed as a traffic planner or other utopian public works government position, who is not qualified to make sound technical nor financial decisions, and/or makes decisions by political agenda instead of facts.

The mayor hired a sociologineer as head of the traffic department- she has only a "Social Ecology" degree and tells the engineers what to design. The sociologineer designed the housing project, and now it's abandoned.

In sociolinguistics, a social dialect associated with a certain socioeconomic class, ethnic or age group. It is a combination of the terms "social" or "socioeconomic" with "dialect."

Valspeak is a sociolect that originated in California's San Fernando Valley in the 1970s with the language of the Valley Girl. Examples are "fer shur" and "totally" usually made with high variation in pitch. Popularized in music and film in the 1980s.

Sociology

Sociology is recognised as an individual subject academically, distinguished from other social sciences of Psychology, economics, social policy etc, but is however more subjective than other social sciences. Collectively, sociology may be defined by its terminology, aims and practice. Sociology is a study of humans, the representation of individuals within a community and attempts to interpret the actions derived from interactivity between people of a social group, community or society (or all three), based upon their position within said group. The interpretation of these actions, and the basis of action within society are cohesive with the values imposed upon the individual within his/her community, which may be based upon culture, religion, education, social position, work, etc and competence within the community, as well as the resolve of others, having a direct influence upon an individuals action.

A social scientist may be concerned with: Social Statics – the study of coexistence of institutions in a system, and their structures and functions; Social Dynamics – the study of change in institutions and systems over time, their development and progress. But it is not his assumed position to consider the problems of the individual human "unit". Sociology is psychology as a Marcoscience?
