With an average household income of over $80,000, Owasso lies about 10 miles north of Tulsa and has one of the best school districts in Oklahoma. More than 80% of the households in Owasso are families, and more Owasso residents have a post-secondary education than in the Tulsa metro area. The population has gone from 18,502 in 2000, to 35,703 in 2010 and is expected to grow another 17% by 2014.
