Unexperienced 10-year old: I heard that there was a time when music was good, what happened?

Experienced 20-year old: The Beastie Boys and Dashboard Confessional fucked it up.

Unexperienced 10-year old: Aw, that is so sad, it's just horrible to think that two bands would ruin music the way they did.
