A one week camp where high school students learn about law and participate in a mock trial on the last day. There are many lectures, but the people are amazing. Also, love starts here, but it ends abruptly when the camp ends.
Billy: I met this awesome girl at law camp where I also learned about the difficulties of being an attorney.
Joe Jack: That's awesome! I think I want to practice law! You don't plan on ever talking to that girl again do you?
Billy: Of course not!

Applies during a sale via the Steam digital distribution platform. Newell's Law states "If you buy a discounted game before the last day of a sale, it will have a more substantial discount the next day." It is named for Gabe Newell, the CEO of Valve Software.
Alternate definition applies during non-sale events, in which case the decision is made after waiting and evaluating a game's worth to purchase at full retail, then the game goes on sale the very next weekend.

Gamer 1: "I bought the Civ4 complete pack yesterday for 33% off thinking it was a great deal, but if I had just waited until today I could have bought it for 75% off!"
Gamer 2: "Newell's Law."

As population density increases, the probability of hearing loud bass which you have no control over approaches one.
Guy #1: I can't sleep, man, there's too much bass coming from next door.
Guy #2: Well, we live in high rise flats. If it's not next door it'd probably be the flat upstairs. Bass Law.

The comparison of a political figure to a fictional Star Wars character in lieu of making an intelligent observation about them.
See Godwin's Law.
See Godwin's Law.
He said Bush and Cheney are like Darth Vader & the Emperor but Obama is like Luke Skywalker.
OK, but why doesn't he form an adult argument about it instead of resorting to Crusty's Law like a little nerd?

Just as Suzie was describing how she looked in her new underwear to Tim on the phone, Mophie's Law kicked in and his phone battery went to zero.

Law Bro: Inclusive of all genders, a law bro is someone who believes that the pursuit of their education (J.D.) intrinsically makes them more valuable than the other. A law bro allows the pursuit of power and money to cloud their judgment regarding non-absolutes and compromise. A law bro doesn't realize that their education isn't the only nor most important agenda. Law bros, to reduce their suffering, must learn to alleviate their egos, self-righteousness, and ideal that they are superior and embrace an ethic of care, knowledge, and mastery for mastery's sake.
Law bro, "I can't believe I got an A- in Con Law after studying for 80 hours last week. Doesn't my professor realize I'm better?"
Enlightened law bro, "shut the fuck up and stop being toxic."

Gunter's Law:
A term that originated on Facebook, Gunter's Law states that as an online argument grows longer and more heated, it becomes increasingly likely that somebody will bring up Donald Trump, the Alt-Right, the KKK, or the Nazis. When such an event occurs, the person guilty of invoking Gunter's Law has effectively won the argument.

"Ironically, Trump will be forced to confiscate all privately-owned guns when he gets sufficiently paranoid about an assassination attempt...just like the Nazis."
Nice job invoking Gunter's Law!
