Fortnite is a third-person Battle Royale game that can be played on Xbox, Playstation, Switch, and PC. In this game, you are one out of 100 players on a big island. You have to open chests to gather loot, and "eliminate" other players to try to become number one.
Let's say you do become number one- it's called a Victory Royale. Every season, you get a free umbrella for getting a Victory Royale that same season.
About Seasons, every few months there is a new Fortnite season, featuring a new theme, some new locations, and items, plus more! Right now, the season is Chapter 3 season 2.
There is also a story to go along with Fortnite Battle Royale. The players are in a neverending "Loop" where they are forced to fight to the death for eternity. The organization that controls the Loop is called the Imagined Order, or IO for short. They go to different realities kidnapping Marvel and Star Wars characters and bringing them into the Loop. However, there is also a group that is at war with the IO. They are called The Seven because there are 7 of them. Their leader, The Foundation, has another identity: Dwane Johnson.
If you don't already play Fortnite, I recommend you do. It's a very fun thing to do when you are bored. It is personally my favorite game, but there are varied opinions on the topic of Fortnite. So if you don't agree with me, you think Fortnite is trash, so be it. I won't change your mind. But in my opinion overall, Fortnite is a great game. Good work, Epic!
