Get the Amogusmug. Amogusophenia, or more simply, Amogus, is a chronic brain disease (Much like Schizophrenia) that is contracted by viewing over 1 hour of online content that relates to the 2018 game ‘Among Us’. Another far easier way of getting Amogus is via long-term exposure to an infected human. The disease will incubate inside the host’s brain for up to a month before they start to notice anything different. This is phase one. In phase two, the host will begin to experience minor headaches for a period of about 3 days. Once the disease has grown strong enough, it will begin phase three. This begins with a bacteriophage injecting Amogus into the optic nerve. After 9 days, it will have spread to the victim’s eyes, causing debilitating hallucinations. They will see normal household objects morph into crewmates from Among us, and sometimes even impostors. The latter of those has a 52% chance to attack the victim, which could cause major damage to their bodily functions. To an outsider, this would look like someone fighting them self. Intervention will often result in the disembowelment of the outsider(s). The only known cure to Amogusophenia is to rid the affected person’s place of residence of all media related to Among us.
