Sky reminder effect

When the current look of the sky reminds you of some kind of media or situation of some sort and it gives you a positive outlook on your current experience with the way the sky looks right now.
I was walking and looked up and noticed the sky was pure black and the city was all lit up. It reminded me of Need For Speed Carbon in so many ways! I had a good evening out for the rest of the night due to a really great sky reminder effect that happened to me.

The Fall Break Effect

A rather unusual change in the daily social activities, usually in large numbers, between the months October and November (length and date may vary according to location) usually, though not limited, for students.

The effect occurs when majority, if not all, social activities come to complete halt. This can be observed most vividly in the internet socialization sites (i.e. Facebook, Myspace, etc.).

Many are prone to being affected by "The Fall Break Effect" and can happen with or without warning. Some show verbal signs to others by mentioning a trip, while some may disappear without warning.

Now, exactly where the affected individuals travel are unknown. The only factor that is shared in common, is the fact that social communication is cut dramatically, especially on the internet.

The correlation of the internet and "The Fall Break Effect" is not known as of now. The only known fact is when the time of "The Fall Break Effect" arrives in the area, the affected students, for a limited time, change their daily activity and reduce the social activities.
...With Warning...

Bob: Hey, I'm gonna be gone for about a week. My family and I are taking a trip to my Grandparent's.

Joe: Oh, well have fun.

*a day later...*

Joe: hmm...Bob isn't on Facebook, or on Instant Messanger as usual...that's strange. Ah, must be "The Fall Break Effect."

-------------------------------
...Without Warning...

Joe: Ah, it's fall break! Time to talk to my friends.

*uses internet social site*

Joe: Wow, 9 of my 10 friends who are constantly online are all of a sudden not...that's strange. Maybe it's "The Fall Break Effect."

The Older Sibling Effect

Generally perpetuated by older siblings, this effect takes place when something is so hyped up or raved about by someone, that you grow to despise it.
I was going to watch Stranger Things, but John totally gave it the older sibling effect for me

The Dun-lop Effect

When one's belly dun-lops over their belt.
It can also be interpreted as being linked to the tire brand name "dunlop," as in rare occasions, the fat creates a tire-like illusion around the middle.
The dun-lop effect of that man is extremely attractive.

The Rusty Cage Effect

the Rusty Cage Effect is a internet effect that I coined myself, Its when Media, Content, Song, or Game Attracts children without the intent of it being for children or not for children in general.

With this it can infect a community making a minority or Majority of the fanbase young children. this is also when other people see the fanbase with the media and influenced by the stereotype of the fanbase being mostly kids they can react negatively or positively
Guy 1: Hey wanna play Friday night funking or Gacha Club?
Guy 2: wtf arent those kids games
Guy 1: Whatever that's just the Rusty Cage Effect, These are actually good games,
Guy 1 : Plus Friday night funkin isn't for kids anyways

Facebook Insomniac Effect

When you're up late at night and you posts on Facebook instantly when they're posted. Essentially it's where the later you stay up, the less people post. Anything after Midnight tends to be Pages posting stupid stuff, but none of your friends actually post interesting content. So when something comes along that's actually cool, or in rare instances like when your friends actually tag you in a post or comment on your status, you get really excited and respond fast. It's a bit like a bell curve, during the day when you get a lot of notifications you're kinda like eh, whatever, and you're barely excited, but the later it gets the more exciting it gets....
It was around 4am when the Facebook Insomniac Effect happened: I was tagged in a video and I found myself bursting into flames, flames of excitement.
