Well... basically... It's a cool band. I'm not a goth or anything, and SlipKnot isn't a gothic band. They're a metal band. Often thought along with Korn and ICP (Insane Clown Posse.)

Most talented nu-metal band on earth, meaning they rank somewhere between shitty and awful. Althogh the core members of their band are pretty talented in their own respects, I.E. Joey and Mick, when they come together, it's the musical equivalent of getting raped. Commonly refered to as death metal, they lack the technicality, the brutality, and the speed needed to be death metal.

I saw a video of Mick from Slipknot doing some 6 string sweeps in the phygrian mode, wow, he's pretty good, damn shame he's being held down by his label.

A metal band that has generated a lot of controversy over their lyrics and The texas chainsaw massacre styled masks. There was a man who claimed he murdered because of lyrics he read. People constantly say that the lyrics encourage suicide/murder but it is likely those few people heard Slipknot.

Interesting tidbit: Slipknot's members moms are mostly big fan. Two members admit they called their moms on mothers day.

Personally I don't like Slipknot but that's just me.

Slipknot is an emo metal band which is comprised of a group of mask wearing cutters. Someone shoot them immediately and do the rest of the world some good. Also and/or better known as slopkunt.

Probably the biggest retards ever. For the most part, they have a disgusting "SLIPKNOT OR DIE" attitude to anyone who doesn't listen to slipknot. They are usually completely illiterate, and they are convinced that slipknot is the best thing to ever happen to metal (not true)
