The distinction lies in the "E" at the beginning, which is a nod to terms such as "E-boy" and "E-girl," used to describe those considered edgy and alternative. While Burger music primarily encompasses rap music, closely resembling artists such as Dax and Eminem, E-Burger features rap elements combined with rock, giving it a darker, edgier sound that many Burger aficionados enjoy. Examples of E-Burger music are Corpse's 2021 single "E-GIRLS ARE RUINING MY LIFE!" and Falling In Reverse's 2024 album titled "Popular Monster."
