Get the Earphone deafness mug.A slang term describing a person who is hard of hearing/deaf, who makes it painfully apparent that they cannot hear anything. Deafers are easily identified by making obnoxious honking noises while signing, loud breathing, excessive use of the middle finger, and playing loud music in an attempt to hear the bass. Deafers are reportedly able to mimic seal noises during coitus.

Mary: I know, they kept honking at each other, and knocking their doors. Don't they realize they can't hear?
