Eventually the victim(s) will be so inebriated that they become part of the cycle and start buying increasingly strong & ridiculous alcoholic drinks rounds ending only when the landlord kicks everyone out or someone vomits/urinates on them self or one of the group shouts "everyone back to mine". At that point you know it's gone really wrong and tomorrow will be a total write-off.
