What many people don't know, however, is that most of the locals living in the city are people of ethnic backgrounds, urban kids and their families, who enjoy street styles, street racing, culture music, and underground lifestyles. Their city is Dago, as opposed to their white suburban counterparts and the millions of tourists who visit every year who call the place San Diego. The hispanic, filipino, and African Americans who give San Diego its unique So Cal flavor and urban underground culture have affectionately named it Dago.
