atrocicon

An atrocious emoticon; an emoticon that is atrocious.

Encompassing the standard ":-)" and ";)" but also including more graphic and detailed "emoji" style emoticons, specifically overly joyful smiling faces and radiant beaming love hearts.

However, the term is somewhat redundant because all emoticons, by definition, are atrocious.

Apostrophe Atrocity

This term is similar to the apostrophe catastrophe, but it is reserved for the most revolting of apostrophe errors. Only a true abomination of a linguist would commit an apostrophe atrocity.
Examples of the apostrophe atrocity:

"I do'nt think that its nece'ssary"

"O'h loo'k, its our Eng'lish teach'er"
