A shnap is when you plan on taking a nap but it’s like a full on sleep but not as long as a sleep so it’s a mix in between.

a short nap, taken in between steps of a project.

I started the paper but got writer's block, so I took a shnap so I could revive and get it done before the deadline.

Sometimes, I like to take a shnap after church, before I start prepping for the work week.
