An intercity term that no one knows where the origin is from. It is believed that it originates from the depths of Detroit. Usually its in reference to old Chevrolet Cavaliers. drop the blocks is an intercity term in reference to modifying a vehicle. Its origins are unclear but it is believed to be from the depths of Detroit. It's usually in reference with Chevrolet Cavalier Z from the years 1983 to 1988. It is believed that the word means to drop the blocks as in a suspension modifications, but that has been disputed greatly.

Coming from the Polish word "blok" it is used to describe a flat/apartment building. I use it because i use to think blok and block ment the same. So now i use the word "block" to describe flats/apartment buildings
