People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. We care more about animals than humans. Haha it's true, I won't deny it like the other pro PETA people. I would slice a dude's throat in a second, but I'd never eat a burger. Cause animals don't lie, corrupt, destroy, pollute and ruin the world. But everyday on the news, some fuck is raping an 8 year old or killing an old man for life insurance. Look in the mirror, we are the enemy. Sorry.

An organization dedicated to a good cause. Peta helps animals everywhere, but is a very controversial group. That is because people are so used to treating animals like shit that they could not stand not being selfish and giving up meat.

They do not kill every animal they have in their posession.
Their mission statement, " People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2.0 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world. PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry."
Basically, it says that animals are not ours to exploit in any way.
So, no, members of Peta do not try to shove their way of life down your throat.
Most members are vegetarians/vegans.
They have had many undercover investigations that have been successful in educating the public, and exposing many animal abusers.
So, STOP RAGGING ON THEM.
