A slasher horror movie set in dirty-looking enviroment, the background seeming like it's coveret with Earth, or grunge, thereby the name. Grunge-Gore films often portray extra gruesome acts of violence, often forced self-mutilation or torture.

Grunge

A musical style popularized in the mid-80s in the city of Seattle. It's a beautiful marriage of punk, metal and alternative rock. The result is a dirty, heavy and noisy guitar sound and a voice pushed to its maximum spewing the emotions of the singer's personal life. The popularity of grunge is also spreading in people's lifestyles and outfits. The end of grunge was marked by the death of Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist of the world's most popular rock band, Nirvana. Today, many alternative rock bands have been influenced by Staley's powerful vocals, Grohl's squared and precise drum beats or McCready's brilliant guitar riffs.

Temple Of The Dog was qualified as a grunge band style.

Grunge

a sub culture that actually existed in the 90s but now people are acting grunge. grunge people are people who don’t give a shit and ARE NOT homophobic, transphobic, racist, or any kind of asshole. they piss off people who are stupid and are bitches. they do whatever they want and say fuck the world. they listen to Nirvana, Hole, Alice in chains, etc. not Lana Del Ray, or any of that indie bullshit. i am not disrespecting them, but it’s not grunge.

Feral Grunge

A subgenre of Grunge rock that does yet exist or exist but someone somewhere will eventually make. The genre is a mix of Hair Metal of 80s like Europe and Grunge of 90s like Nirvana making wild rock sound that has a combination of pop metal rawness and sub punk dirtiness.
