Perhaps it is because they only date to marry and want to start a family with who they marry, are religious, or are just sexually attracted to the characteristics and genitals of the opposite sex. I told him that I identify as super straight and explained how it’s ideal for me to date for marriage and have children. It didn’t go as planned... he said he understood, but he had a shocked and heartbroken expression.
