West Oak Side (abbreviated as WOS) is a large predominantly african-american street gang that originally started back in West side Philadelphia. The West Oak Side has charters scattered from Philadelphia, to New York, to even the West Coast. West Oak Side started after a shooting took place when one of their members named Oakley “Oakdale” Smith got shot and killed by a rival faction in Philadelphia . Their most infamous leader being Jaevon “JV” Sinclair has been on the run for over a decade, becoming one of the most wanted males in the United states. There’s rumors that JV has gone back to Los Angeles, continuing to run his enterprise and trying to avoid going to prison.
