Well, his proper name is “Gojira” (deriving from “Kujira” or “Whale” in Japanese, and “Gorira”, the Japanese word for “Gorilla.”) But, the Americans have decided “Godzilla” is more fitting. This monster is referenced in many films, as well as has 35 films (as of 2020) and has been around for 65 years, turning 66 this year. He has faced off against the likes of King Kong, Ghidorah, etc. So, Godzilla is just a cool monster, I guess.

Get the Godzilla mug.The year was 1998, Godzilla hit cinemas with record low ratings. I asked all my mates to come with me with no luck. Everyone Talked shit about the movie that I went in thinking it was going to be the worst movie of all time. Came out thinking, hey that was alright.... Godzilla Theory was born. Lower your expectations and whatever it is will be good.
