Suicide Bait

Used darkly to describe something that baits you towards un-aliving yourself in a 'that shit sucked' fashion.

Bill: "Hey, how was your weekend?"
Tom: "Well... My in-laws visited. That shit was suicide bait. Like actual suicide bait."

When someone threatens to kill yourself, usually to coerce you. Or simply to make you feel bad.

Some formal sources claim this actually refers to death threats, but never has anyone actually referred to death threats as suicide baiting.

No, you aren't going to suicide bait me into working on your game again.
