A video game genre that centers the gameplay on gun and projectile weapon-based combat through first-person perspective; i.e., the player experiences the action through the eyes of a protagonist.

First person shooters are fun games to play only on the Xbox.

or FPS; a fantasy, or video clip made/experienced through the first person view, to make it more enjoyable, and more realistic. often sexual.

"I wanna be a pitcher so bad, I had a First Person Shooter about it during science class"
