The name given to an individuals Facebook account with which they use to follow members of the opposite sex in order to achieve sexual arousal.

Example 1:
Boy - "How would you like to become a member of my IWB?"
Girl - "Sure! What is it though?"
Boy - "Never you mind...."

Example 2:
After a tiresome day at work, Dave relieved himself with the aid of his Interactive Wank Bank (IWB).

The effect when one abuses a friends face physically and getting the friend to respond with an equally funny physical response.

Friend 1 - "hey I hear she has an interactive face!!?"
Friend 2 - "yeah it's great, if you touch her forehead she hits herself!!!"
friend 1 - "NOOOOO WAYYYYY!!!"
friend 2 - "watch"

** friend 2 taps girl on the forehead. She preceeds to slap herself in the face, falling off the bar stool**

Interactive Entertainment Marketing (I.E.M.)

Interacting with the consumer (where they live) through entertaining content that invites them to become part of the campaign and even share the branding message.

Today's consumers have so many advertising messages coming at them, most advertisers are having to come up with new ways to keep their attention.

Words like Social Media, Product Placement, Branding and Viral Marketing are thrown around like baseballs but who truly understands the terms or what they mean? The term Interactive Entertainment Marketing (I.E.M) was coined by Mr. Jody Sigmund after 25 years in the marketing and advertising arena. Sigmund has worked with companies the likes of Palms Casino, Inked Magazine, Playboy, Affliction Clothing, Hustler, Michael Jackson and a list of others.

Interactive Entertainment Marketing (I.E.M.) is reaching the consumer on their turf, through facebook, twitter and YouTube and offering a gift with purchase for posting their own video and asking them to explain why they like a certain advertiser's product. The winner is based on how many friends like the video post and / or how many comments they receive. This is just one example. Another example is by placing product on actors in YouTube videos, television or theatrical releases and then tying links through smart phone applications that direct to the advertisers P.O.S.

interactive marketing

Forms of marketing that create interaction between the target audience and the brand being marketed.

Any piece of marketing can encourage interaction with a brand, it's a pull strategy. An interactive print piece might ask it's viewer to participate with it by folding it, or filling in some blanks, or adding to it in some other way. An online blog encourages two-way communication and interaction. My company uses interactive marketing as a strategy to engage our audience with our brand.

interactive game

Moronic and meaningless buzzword to denote a video game of some kind. Originates in the days of the "interactive movie", a time of terrible experiments combining gameplay and video footage. Interactive movies quickly earned a much-deserved bad name for screwing up both the components that the name implies, so companies started using "interactive game" instead, hoping people were stupid enough not to notice. Though the genre is more or less gone today, the term is still in use, usually by the same people who say "internet website" instead of just "website" believing the redundancy will make them look, uh, smarter or something.

I'm sure glad this interactive game is interactive, cuz otherwise it wouldn't be a game would it?
