An item that you absolutely do not need to buy however you have to have it. I don't need it... but I need it.
As she passed by the store window and leather boots caught the corner of her eye she thought to herself I don't need it... but I need it.

A vague and mysterious phrase to suggest people don't know something about your character which you have kept a close secret. Just like hiding something in the closet.

don't give criticism if you can't take criticism
don't say thing's about other people if you don't like things said about yourself in return
don't say thing's about other people if you don't like things said about yourself in return
When telling some off about being hypocritical you can say "If you can't take it Don't give it".
Don't like criticism "then Don't give it if you can't take it
Don't like criticism "then Don't give it if you can't take it

Pretty straightforward. That moral your friends repeat over and over again when they tell you that you shouldn't have slept with that girl last night 'cause they knew she'd take shit too seriously.
Clarence: shit bruv that Jessica chick is all over me she won't get off of me man she's tagging me in all this relationship post bullshit, saving pics of me, telling her friends, texting me 24/7... what do I do?
Bob: bro idk lmao you bloody fuckin' had sex with her not me. you know what they say fam don't stick your dick in crazy.

A person who is extremely stupid
Is rooted in the story of my friend's brother who worked at the YMCA, and had to deal with a person who was outraged at the fact that they made him leave the pool early, so that a group of mentally disabled people could swim. A person with down-syndrome was seen pointing at the man and laughing, "You don't get to swim in the pool!!." Now how do you react when A person with Down-syndrome is making fun of YOU?

"I wanted to see what would happen if I tied steaks to my nuts and ran in front of a feral dog."
"You do not get to swim in the pool."
