A Sleep Paralysis Demon is that scary shi that watches you sleep while asking for breakfast or for something to do because ho u slacking on that breakfast and entertainment, that scary shi might just eat your toes off while you sleep.
(This is definitely not your Sleep Paralysis Demon.)

Sleep Shutting

You close your laptop lid during sleep and don't remember it when you wake up.

You fall asleep watching a tv show on your laptop with the lid up on your laptop so you can see the screen, you wake up in the morning with the lid down. You have closed the lid during your sleep but when you wake up don't remember doing it.

Sleep Shutting has the same effects as sleep walking.
