When someone has been viewing social media topics, or any one topic, on social media for so long, non-stop, that they can't handle anymore new information. If more information continues to be presented to them then, they may get visibly upset since they've reached the overload point. They get upset even faster if they don't have a particular interest in the topic(s).
There have been so many tumblr posts on that new Cartoon that came out recently, Johnny hit Social Media Overload.

Get the social media patriotmug. A person who compares themselves to Competition motorsport engine & electronic calibrator. Typically known for social media popularity, disabling important engine fail safe parameters such as detonation (knock) sensors.
These individuals lack the mechanical and electrical experience of working on said competition vehicles. They do not own level C (or better) technician tool boxes, completely incapable of tearing an engine down & putting it back together to even the simplest OEM specifications.
Typically these “tuners” carry themselves with a high pride in their “flame maps” and “gapping” the competition. When they in fact cannot even gap piston rings properly.
