Get the piano rock mug.I saw this hottie the other day at Starbucks talking on her cellphone. She smiled at me and I thought to myself, "Game on!" That was until I approached the bar and saw the band on her cellhand. Total rock block!

Get the nelson rocks mug.Overproduced, melodic, often folky and/or sometimes "indie" sounding music used in advertisements by large companies to market their products and services to young and/or hip consumers. There is a caveat to this definition as sometimes well established bands and artists license their music to these very companies for use in such advertisements. The term itself refers to laundry detergent ads, which are repeat offenders for this type of "la-la," feel good music.
Typically, acoustic guitars, glockenspiels, banjos and electro-mechanical keyboards (such as a wurlitzer piano) are common timbres heard in a laundry rock piece. Also common are soft sounding, layered male or female vocals.

Get the Laundry Rock mug.Rock and Roll music that is typically provided to commercial producers either royalty free or extremely cheap to produce. Notable for its cheesy quality and generic likeness to other Stock Rock songs found in varying commercials. Used by marketing to add an "impacting" or "badass" quality to the commercial, typically to questionable effect.
I get that this commercial is trying to sound badass, but I cannot take the Stock Rock music seriously.
