Black Law

A "black law" is derived from the teachings of Muhammad, a great taxi driver from the Bronx New York regarding "unjust and unfair TLC laws"

Brummel's Law

Brummel's Law states that once you've sworn off a particular habit or vice, an opportunity to engage in said habit or vice presents itself almost immediately.
Lara: Damn, I'm on the wagon for the next couple months, and now all of my friends suddenly want to have a social life. This sucks.

Zuni’s Law

Originating on May 9th 2020, Zuni’s Law describes the phenomena where internet users—many of whom have no prior knowledge of the subject—will follow any internet trend or bandwagon, and attempt to reproduce it nonsensically in poor quality. Many instances of this law include theft of other people’s ideas or work and attempts to rebrand it under the current trend. Zuni’s Law was established by iFunny user Zuniroa following the observation that many iFunny users began writing their own “laws” following the popularity of Bidoof’s Law and Garf’s Law. The most famous of these poor-quality laws is Kes’s Law. Kes’s Law differentiates itself from Bidoof’s and Garf’s laws in its idiocy due to the fact that it’s not an original observation of internet behavior, it’s merely a shoddily-made renaming of the Illusory Truth Effect.
Kes: “Yo dude these people keep joking about femboys, and now they like femboys! I think I could call this Kes’s Law just like Garf’s Law!”

Sensible Human Being: “That’s just the Illusory Truth Effect, retard. Zuni’s Law applies here.”

Kes: “Wait, isn’t Zuni’s Law itself an application of Zuni’s Law?”

Sensible Human Being: “Well, shit. You got me there.”

Nora's Law

Definition
In the game of Four Square, Nora's Law dictates that when a player is gotten out because another player hit the ball very hard, the player who hit the ball hard has to go get it.

(Otherwise, it is usually the player who is out who has to go get the ball.)

Rationale
The rationale behind this, is that hitting the ball hard like that makes it go hella far away, and is also somewhat dishonorable. Thus those who do such a thing should have to atone for their action by running and getting the ball.

This law also helps to reduce the frequency of players hitting the ball hard like that, allowing for a more enjoyable game.
Implementation
In practice, the phrase "Nora's Law" is simply yelled out by other players, indicating that whomever hit the ball must go get it.

For Example:
Player 2 hits ball hella hard, getting Player 3 out. Ball bounces 50 feet away.

Player 3 yells "Nora's Law!" indicating that they are not responsible for getting the ball, since Player 2 hit it so far. Other players may also yell "Nora's Law!" in support of Player 2.

Player 2 must now go and get the ball.
