Someone who has a good taste in music and hates that awful band Nickelback.

My girlfriend is a Nickelback fan, so I had to find a way to tell her that I'm a Nickelback hater.

Nickelback Rule

The Nickelback rule is to be invoked whenever a jukebox playing random songs inadvertently stumbles upon a Nickelback tune. The rule requires a listener to immediately insert money into the jukebox so as to hastily dispatch the aforementioned Nickelback "song."

Wayne: Hey man, you got a dollar?
Dan: Why?
Wayne: "Rockstar" just came on, Nickelback rule is in effect.

2.) Listening to 2 or more nickel back songs in a row and wondering if the cd is on repeat
3.) One of the most effective forms of torture if you arnt a drunken middle aged burn out or middle schooler trying to fit in

Nickelback Trapped

Being in a situation where you can't get to the radio when a Nickelback song comes on, thus having to suffer through the duration of the song.

Dude, I turned the radio up as I got in the shower because they were playing Bowie, but they played Nickelback next and I was all suds'd up. I got Nickelback Trapped. I hate that!

Nickelback headache

A type of excruciating pain affecting the entire head for several hours after listening to a selection of tracks from the derivative Canadian schlock-rock band, Nickelback.

Note: The headache can develop into a full bodyache if the person continues to subject himself to aural torture.

Possible side effects include: shopping at Wal-Mart, driving a Hummer or pickup track, loss of vision, loss of sex drive, alcoholism, and a possible desire to listen to the same song over and over and over again.
