JC is a classic name originated in 2018. The name comes from the 14 year old white, Italian boy, JC, from when he was 7 years old. He created the name “jcprete03” for his Fortnite account during late season 3 chapter 1. He later became one of the greatest Fortnite mobile players of all time. The J comes from his father, Jerry Prete, and the C comes from his mother, Christine Prete. However, JC is commonly mistaken for Jesus Christ by his religious grandparents, Nonni and Poppop. It is also mistaken for famous LGBTQIA+ community member, James Charles, by many Princeton residents. Overall, the name JC has adapted to one of the most iconic names in all of Princeton, New Jersey.
