n. anyone who deliberatly acts in a manner not befitting of his social status in order to "climb the social ladder"

someday guy

A guy or a man you aren't pursuing or involved with now but can see yourself ending up with someday.

This person may be a friend, an ex with whom you've always thought you may eventually get back together, or both or neither. You may or may not believe or acknowledge that you're currently interested in the someday guy, but when you imagine your future you can see yourself with him.

Laurie: Sometimes after I break up, I like to make myself feel better by thinking about guys I could someday see myself with, do you have anyone like that?

Jules: Nope, no one

Elle: What about Grayson?

Jules: oh yeah, about 10 years from now, when I am done changing him.
