The browser which someone is using to access the internet.

Many companies producing rip-off versions of other browsers will claim fake user-agents. Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most notorious example of this sort of fraud.
Despite claims that Internet Explorer is the most popular browser, it seems just about everyone's user-agent is Mozilla.
