A slang term in Newfoundland for moose. If you hit one with your car, your car will stop in its tracks, and probably kill you. The moose, however, will be fine.

Bump

An expression of like or dislike usually used among the squad. Use of the positive form is similar to telling one to “bump” music louder, or “bump” a post - it’s a way to say hey, what you just said was important, and I liked it. It needs recognition.

The negative form is like “bumping” into someone, bumping someone from a spot or status, or like saying “fuck that. Those words do not need recognition.”
