When you're on Facebook Messenger and you accidentally hit the "thumb's up button, usually at the worst possible time.
It's going to look something like:
Person: "I'm having a really rough day"
Me: "What's wrong?"
Person: "My dad passed away. 😰"
Me: "👍"
Me: "Goddammit! The unintentional thumb strikes again! ...sorry for your loss."
Example two:
Person 1: "How are things with the hubby?"
Person 2 :"I found out he's cheating on me."
Person 1: "👍"

Me: "What's wrong?"

Or ...
"How are things with Robert?"
"I found out he's cheating on me."
"👍"
"So sorry, the Unintentional Thumb strikes when you least expect it."

that
annoying thing
when people
send you
a message
a few words
at a time
…forcing you to wait and wait until their message ends up looking like a wise, ancient scroll inciting needless drama and anticipation to their communication like it’s some sort of top secret briefing.

- Did Jim not text you about tonight?
- Yeah, but it was all in one of his thumb dribbles that went on and on, so I stopped reading it.
