I don't know if this is true, but I think rednecks are people who own a gun, live in the south of the US, love America way too much, and are homophobic/ transphobic. I guess some honorable mentions are: love god, have a gross beard, owns a truck.

Me: I saw a guy dressed up as a roblox noob.
Some random wierdo: Well I saw a redneck yelling racist thing across a Walmart parking lot while aiming his gun at my 67 year old neighbor.

Redneck Royalty

People who command, or think they command, a presence among the working poor. Usually strongly opinionated and adept at bullying their "subjects" by being loud. Occasionally have to resort to mock threats of physical violence to maintain their authority. At picnics, they line their lawn chairs (thrones) in a prominent place just off the beer tent, and regale the crowds with opinions about how dumb everyone else is.

Jim and Cathy and the rest of their redneck royalty are busy making proclamations about the idiots running the country.

Any person(s) who repair or build functional lasting items from or by unconventional means due to not having disposable money or needed materials at hand. While skin color alone doesn't determine if a person is one or not, setting definitely might. Most rednecks indeed do live in the southern portion of the US, however most are labeled without context or true understanding.
